The Fresh Roast SR340 is an improved version of the SR 300. Like the SR 300 and SR 500, the SR340 will roast twice the capacity of the original Plus8 and features a digital time display plus an adjustable fan speed control. The maximum timer setting is 9.9 minutes.At any point during the roast time can be added or subtracted in 6 second intervals by a tap on the button. The timer can be overridden by pushing the cool button which will put the unit into the 3 minute cool cycle. This is a simple to operate unit and is a great value for the money. It will roast 4 scoops of beans, about 5 oz. of green coffee beans per roast. It is highly recommended that when roasting multiple batches of beans to let the roaster cool for 20-30 minutes in between roasts.
