Hot Air Popcorn Poppers

Hot air popcorn poppers are great for roasting beans. You may want to roast outside or in your garage as they blow the chaff out during the roasting process.
• Add green beans to the air popper chamber just like you would add popcorn.
• Turn on unit and make sure beans are moving around in the hot air current.
• It helps to tip the unit back a bit to prevent beans from shooting out during the roast.
• In about 6-9 minutes you’ll hear first crack – light roast
• Right after 1st crack ends (about 90 seconds) – medium roast. Roast moves quickly now.
• 2-3 minutes later 2nd crack – dark roast.

Once cool they are ready to grind and brew. Resting 4-5 hours will produce an even better, fuller flavor. ENJOY!!

Note: Roasting beans produces some smoke so make sure you have adequate ventilation.
